The Dandelion is often thought of as a common weed but these well known wild flowers play an important role in our eco system. They are one of the first flowers to open, providing vital food for bees and other insects that are starting to stir in spring. This 3D paper flower study has been made from old botanical book pages, wire and brown packing paper. It has been hand cut and painted with watercolours.
 
The frames are handmade for each display from solid wood and glass. This particular frame has been made from Ash wood and lightly oiled. It has a wire on the back so it is ready to hang when it arrives.
 
In order to keep your piece looking its best, hang it away from direct sunlight and avoid areas where there is a lot of moisture such as in a bathroom or a lot of direct heat such as directly above a radiator.
