I am committed to maintaining the trust of the visitors to my website and by browsing and using any part of my website and/or purchasing any item or service through it you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with any of the terms within this page or within my privacy policy then please do not continue to use this website or use it to purchase work or services. The website is hosted by Wix.com who also provide the platform with which I am able to sell my artwork and services. The term ‘I’ or ‘me’ refers to the owner of this website – Kate Kato. The term ‘you’ refers to the viewer of my website.

All rights, including copyright of the website and all its content, artwork and services offered are owned by Kate Kato (also referred to as Kasasagi or Kasasagi Design). By using this website you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the services available. Any use of this website or it's content or services for anything other than personal use is prohibited without the express permission of Kate Kato. By using this website you agree this website and its content and services should not be copied or reproduced in any other format without permission from the artist. Purchasing Artwork and Services

Availability:

Artwork and services are subject to availability. Although I endeavour to make regular updates to the site, not all pieces may be listed. You can email me or contact me through the form on my contact page for information about availability of pieces and approximate lead-times for new artwork or commissions.

Purchasing of Third Party Items and Tools:

I sell tools from third party providers through my online shop in the form of a kit. By purchasing these tools you agree that I am selling tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. I will have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of these third-party tools. Any use of the tools offered through my website is entirely at your own risk and discretion.

Age Restrictions:

Legislation prohibits the sale of certain products to persons under a certain age including knives and other bladed articles including scissors. Because of this, the tools for sale through my website are marked as age restricted and you may only be able to purchase these items if you are over 18 years old. You may need to provide proof of age when the item is delivered or collected.

Pricing and Payment:

You can find prices for my artwork or services on the website or through inquiry. I reserve the right to alter prices. It may be necessary to change the prices either up or down from time to time or discontinue a service. Payments can be made directly through the online shop or can be agreed via email and paid on receipt of an invoice via bank transfer.

Order Confirmation:

When purchasing through my online shop, you will receive an email confirming your order once it has been placed. If you wish to pay via a bank transfer you will receive a confirmation email with an attached invoice. Please ensure you provide me with the correct contact details to make sure the order can be completed and I can contact you as needed.

Online Courses:

I offer online courses and services for a one off fee. I reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently the services (or any part of them) with or without notice. You agree that I will not be liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the services.

If within the first 14 days after you have purchased a course you change your mind and wish to leave the course you will be refunded the full amount. Refunds will not be available after this 14 day period. If you live outside the UK, due to possible fluctuations in currency exchange rates, the refunded amount may be slightly higher or lower than your original amount.

Online Courses and services are non-transferable.

Commissioning A Piece of Artwork

I will work very closely with you to ensure your ideas are brought to life and you are happy with the final outcome. I will always try to confirm how long I expect it to take however this may not always be possible. As some times of the year are busier than others its always best to get in contact in advance to make sure I have plenty of time to get the details right. I will always send images of the final artwork for your approval before it is shipped and confirm when the piece is on its way.

Please make sure that all the information you provide me with is correct, including dates you expect work to be completed by, as mistakes will not be refunded.

I reserve the right to refuse my service to anyone for any reason at anytime. As commissions are bespoke I do not accept returns or refunds for them unless there is damage or an obvious error made by the artist.

Images of Artwork

I aim to portray my artwork as accurately as possible however there may be slight variations between my images and the piece in real life. Colours and finishes in images may vary depending on the screen you are viewing them on. Where dimensions have been quoted, these will be approximate sizes.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

I reserve the right to update and change these terms and conditions from time to time, therefore you should read them regularly and check them before making any inquiries or purchases. Your continued use of the site after the posting of any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
